As an Access Control Officer in a residential location, you will monitor entry points, verify visitors, and help support a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and respond to security-related concerns with strong communication and customer service.  Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, check identification and/or credentials as required, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity.
* Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, gates, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
* Support package, delivery, and vendor access procedures, maintain accurate logs and reports, and follow post orders related to residential property access and community rules.

 Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* A guard card and/or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
