Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Parking Garage in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, observations, and security-related concerns according to site protocols. * Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site guidelines. * Support daily operations by documenting incidents, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate, and following Allied Universal standards and post orders. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
