As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.13 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:15 AM - 07:15 PMWed11:15 AM - 07:15 PMThur11:15 AM - 07:15 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting. * Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, staff spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity. * Monitor access points, observe visitor flow, and assist with screening entry conditions, restricted areas, and/or special event activity in accordance with site procedures. * Support the protection of exhibits, collections, and property by reporting hazards, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
