Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Morning Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document activities, and assist residents and staff with courteous service. Using a computer and/or tablet, you will communicate updates and help maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
* Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity, respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts as needed.
* Control access where assigned by observing visitor and vehicle entry, verifying authorization when required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
* Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and report maintenance hazards, lighting issues, and/or property concerns to management.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Customer service experience preferred.
* Comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
