Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Mobile Rounds Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout public spaces and staff areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver customer service with integrity as part of Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative culture. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out access control, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting. * Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying authorization as needed and directing individuals to appropriate locations per site guidelines. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, requesting support as needed, and completing incident reports. * Observe and report unusual activity, potential policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, communicating clearly with site representatives and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
