Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Mobile Rounds in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support tenants, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service while bringing reliability, integrity, and teamwork to every shift. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public services as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns. * Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity in accordance with property guidelines, helping to support orderly operations at the location. * Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or property conditions, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: * A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * This is primarily a driving post. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
