Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Norman, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Walk / stand long periods of time CLEET assistance is available - Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 05:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 05:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location. * Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. * Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. * Monitor foot traffic, observe customer and employee activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, hazards, or operational concerns to appropriate personnel. * Assist with access control, opening and closing activities, and/or queue and crowd monitoring during busy shopping periods, special events, or peak business hours. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
