Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Medical Campus Patrol in Westwood, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and proactive approach will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols relevant to healthcare locations.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
* Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols within the healthcare location.
* Collaborate with staff and local emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents or emergency situations.
* Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
* Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries to support a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
