Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Weekdays in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. In this role, you will be counted on to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any situations that arise, always representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Since this is a driving post, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities. * Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. * Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the facility. * Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site policies. * Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
