Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. * Monitor visitor, patient, and vendor access at the reception area, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to maintain an orderly entry process. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed. * Answer questions, provide directions, document daily activity and unusual events, and report concerns related to access control, property, and/or facility operations. * Support a professional lobby presence by observing the entrance area, helping to deter unauthorized access, and following post orders and client-directed protocols. Minimum Requirements: * Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Loss prevention experience is preferred. * A current CPR certification is preferred. * The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
