Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Logistics Site Patrol in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the site, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns that arise. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to uphold a positive atmosphere. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be required to operate vehicles during your patrols. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or breaches of procedures. * Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as needed. * Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * CPR certification is preferred. * A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions only. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
