Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Lobby Access Associate in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will serve as a welcoming front desk presence, helping to monitor access, support badge and visitor processes, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this stationary role, you will help with security-related concerns while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity at the center of every interaction.

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk location.
* Monitor access to the facility by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, issuing access credentials as directed, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site procedures.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
* Support front desk operations by answering questions, providing directions, receiving deliveries, and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues through the appropriate channels.
* Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and follow healthcare location protocols related to confidentiality, privacy, and professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

* Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
