Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Licensed Hospital  in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.  Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and attentive observation.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and other assigned locations as conditions vary by site.
* Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
* Support staff during security-related events by documenting incidents, communicating with supervisors and/or first responders, and following post orders for medical centers and related healthcare environments.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital assignment.
* Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
* A guard card is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
