Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer in Nashua, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor processing while maintaining a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will monitor activity, document events, communicate clearly with teams on site, and deliver strong customer service. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures at controlled access points and within restricted areas, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Control entry and exit by verifying identification and/or access credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
* Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems as assigned, report irregular conditions, and complete detailed security-related reports and documentation.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, access lockdown procedures, and/or communications per post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, production areas, and the perimeter, looking for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other conditions that may require notification or follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
