Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control while documenting activity using site technology. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Control access by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, directing deliveries to designated check-in points, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
* Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and public responders as directed.
* Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and observations of hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, escalating concerns through the chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* A guard card/license is preferred.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Access control/badge experience is preferred.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
