Responsibilities: Responsible for performing alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, or similar disaster. Provide vehicle transportation support function under direction of supervisor in compliance with government, corporate, and management directives. * Pay: $20.74/hour plus an additional $5.09/hour (up to maximum of 40 hours per week) used to offset the cost of elected benefits * Hours: M-F, 5:00am- 1:30pm * Retirement Plan: Eligible to participate in company 401(k) with Company matching after 1 year * Vacation: Minimum of ten days per year. Actual days are based upon your Service Date * Sick Time: Accrued sick time at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, capped at 56 hours per year * Holidays: 12 paid holidays per year. Qualifications: Essential Job Duties: * Transport students to work-based learning sites, college, airport, and other activities. Must be able to work all shifts. * Ensure the physical security of buildings and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment. Maintain log of findings and corrective action taken. * Monitor and direct urinalyses and Breathalyzer as required. * Assist in transporting ill or injured students as required. * Respond to fire alarms, take necessary steps to report fires, assist in suppressing fires, and reset fire alarm equipment. * Operate passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages. Ensure adherence to established schedules. * Ensure proper student/visitor checkout and procedures are followed.
