Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer Innovation Campus Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and data center location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to support a secure environment through visible, routine foot and vehicle patrols, access checks, and timely reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide customer-focused communication, respond to security-related concerns, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to employees, contractors, vendors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns through the chain of command and contacting emergency services when required by post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
* Monitor and document access control activities such as observing entry points, verifying identification and/or badges, confirming visitor and vendor authorization, and recording entries in logs per site requirements.
* Complete detailed written reports and/or electronic documentation of patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to onsite personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
