Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Channahon, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. * Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious behavior. * Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns observed during patrols. * Work collaboratively with site staff and visitors, maintaining a professional presence while supporting security-related needs of the location. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
