Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business area and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity. * Observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations to the appropriate personnel. * Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required. * Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. * Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment. * Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions or potential security-related threats within the location. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
