Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support residents and staff, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.  Pay Rate: $18.87/ Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or supervisors.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, exits, hallways, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying authorized entry when required, and documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
* Support a respectful residential environment by addressing policy-related concerns, reporting maintenance or environmental issues that may affect operations, and assisting with security-related requests as appropriate.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
* Be 21+ years of age.
* X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
