Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Hotel Vechicle Patrol in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hotel and resort locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position is a driving post, offering the opportunity to interact with a variety of people while supporting a secure environment.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate supervisor or law enforcement as required.
* Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the location.
* Assist guests, staff, and visitors with security-related needs and directions as appropriate.
* Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Lifting up to 20 lbs is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Access control or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
