Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Gainesville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations with integrity, and make a meaningful impact through teamwork.

 Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and help to manage authorized entry and exit of staff, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site procedures and visitor protocols.
* Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests and/or routine operational needs as appropriate.

 Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
* Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
* Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
* Must be 21+ years of age.
* Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
* Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
