Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Afternoon Shift you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming and well-managed environment.

 Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
* Observe and report suspicious activity, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
* Support access control and visitor-related processes in accordance with location policies and assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.
* Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
* Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
