Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.53 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 07:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 07:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 07:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 07:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. * Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. * Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify authorized access when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy concerns in accordance with site expectations. * Assist with emergency response activities, directional support, and/or crowd management during high-traffic periods, public interactions, and other situations that call for a visible security-related presence. Minimum Requirements: * A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * A guard card or license is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
