Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Hospital Driver Patrol in Valencia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a hospital setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, disruptive behavior, and requested assistance calls.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
* Monitor access points and visitor flow by observing entry and exit activity, confirming authorization as directed, and assisting with wayfinding and patient transport support when requested.
* Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and/or public responders, and support security-related investigations by documenting facts and preserving information.

Minimum Requirements:

* A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
* Hospital vaccines experience is required.
* Hospital morgue experience is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Experience restraining individuals in a hospital environment is required.
* A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
