Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Highrise Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a hotel and resort location, where you will welcome guests, monitor access, support badge and visitor procedures, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.  Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk location.
* Monitor access to the property by greeting arrivals, verifying credentials when required, issuing visitor information, and documenting front desk activity in accordance with site protocols.
* Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to hotel leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
* Answer phones, provide directions, and support front desk communications while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation.
* Complete incident reports, visitor logs, and other required records, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* A guard card and/or license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
