Our unarmed driving officers patrol a dynamic healthcare location, staying visible while conducting routine rounds and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork.  Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or unusual conditions.
* Support visitor management and entry screening practices as assigned, offering directions and assistance while following post orders and healthcare location policies.
* Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, medical assist calls, and other security-related matters requiring follow-up.

 Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
* Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
* Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
