Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns using sound judgment. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
* Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify hazards or policy concerns, with working conditions varying by location.
* Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify authorization where required, and assist with screening processes per site policy while maintaining courteous, service-focused communication.
* Complete timely reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
