As an unarmed, driving Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol buildings and grounds, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control, visitor management, and other site-specific, security-related procedures within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site policy.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes, observing and reporting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
* Complete accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and/or responding public services as needed.
* Support order maintenance by providing a visible presence, offering directions, and assisting with de-escalation efforts within scope of post orders and training.

Minimum Requirements:

* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
