What You'll Do:

* Greet visitors and employees at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming experience while following site-specific policies and procedures.
* Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
* Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
* Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating information and coordinating with Allied Universal and/or client staff.
* Provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and addressing concerns in a courteous manner.
* Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any security-related concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate authorities.
* Operate communication devices and/or security-related technology as required for the front desk post.

Minimum Requirements:

* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* Access control or badge experience is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
