Responsibilities: Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol Full Time Multiple Shifts Available $25.00 / Hour Safety Starts Here: Hiring Phenominal Experienced Security Officers Now! As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. *A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only * Must possess one of the following: * Minimum of two (2) years previous security experience * Minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, Combat Arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone. * Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) * Verifiable work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting field * Must be a citizen of the United States of America and possess one of the following: * U.S. Passport * Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate * Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240) * Certificate of U.S Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561) * Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570) Benefits: * Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance * Company's retirement plans * Seven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked * 40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments; unused vacation is only paid out where required by law Qualifications: Allied Universal(r) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
