Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Government Building in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift 

 Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
* Support Allied Universal and site leadership with routine reporting, communication, and follow-up related to daily operations, incidents, and/or security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
