As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting access control at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and employees, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help maintain smooth entry and exit flow at gates and checkpoints. You will conduct routine patrols and complete clear reports, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Control access at gates, entrances, and/or guard shacks by checking identification, issuing badges, managing visitor logs, and verifying appointments for drivers, vendors, and employees. * Monitor inbound and outbound traffic by documenting trailer and container numbers, seal numbers, and shipment paperwork as required, and coordinating with site contacts to support smooth yard operations. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and written reports. * Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or facility concerns. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
