Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Gate Screening Driver in Toronto, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry and exit, verify credentials, and support visitor and contractor check-in. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and document activity clearly. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial manufacturing location.
* Control access at facility entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitor check-in processes, and issuing temporary badges or passes in accordance with site requirements.
* Monitor access control systems and security-related alarms, document irregular activity, and notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or local responders when required.
* Complete required reporting such as access logs, visitor records, and incident reports, and communicate shift updates during post handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
