Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Full-Time Weekday Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
* Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, and assisting with security-related requests from authorized personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* A guard card and/or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
