Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced public-facing environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a commercial property environment. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public access areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. * Monitor visitor, tenant, and vendor activity while reporting maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols. * Support crowd management, access control, and/or directional assistance during busy periods, special events, and changing location conditions. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
