Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. In this people-first role, you will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication while working with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity according to post orders, visitor procedures, and/or vehicle screening practices. * Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports and support emergency response activities when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: * A New York State Security Guard License is required. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
