Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 PM - 01:15 AMTue08:00 PM - 01:15 AMWed08:00 PM - 01:15 AMThur08:00 PM - 01:15 AMFri02:00 PM - 07:15 PMSun12:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns. * Monitor access points and assist with checking credentials, visitor activity, and after-hours entry in accordance with location policies and post instructions. * Support a professional campus environment by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while providing courteous assistance and clear directions when needed. Minimum Requirements: * Customer service experience is preferred. * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
