Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Local Area Patrol in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.89 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a technology and telecommunications location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. * Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities. * Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations, directing people away from impacted areas, and reporting hazards or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
