Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and verify credentials for visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel, following site protocols for entry, exit, and/or vehicle movement. * Support orderly operations by observing trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and high-traffic zones, while communicating with site contacts regarding security-related issues and/or disruptions. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Access control and badge experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
