As a Security Officer - Full Time Hospital Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, helping support a welcoming environment through screening activities, routine patrols, and visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
* Screen employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors at designated access points by following site screening procedures, verifying required credentials, and directing individuals as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as needed, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
* Support access control and visitor management functions by monitoring entry points, communicating clearly with staff and guests, and reporting policy violations or screening issues.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
* Handcuffing certification is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
