Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Full-Time Commercial Patrol Driver in ANNAPOLIS, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and property staff with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to incidents with integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
* Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site management and/or emergency services as needed.
* Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

* A minimum of 1 or more years of security experience is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
