As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Role in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity and unusual conditions.
* Serve in an armed post while following all post orders, use of force guidelines, and weapon handling procedures applicable to the location and assignment.
* Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces to help support security-related operations, assist with reporting concerns, and help to deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
* Have 3+ years of Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security experience, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
* Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
* Provide proof of high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
