Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . 

 As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will be stationed at the main entry point, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and badge access, reflecting our commitment to reliability, teamwork, and integrity. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in people-first cultures and are comfortable interacting with a diverse range of guests and staff.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
* Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
* Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
* Communicate with site personnel and management regarding any unusual activity or concerns observed at the front desk area.
* Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following location-specific protocols.
* Support the implementation of security procedures and site-specific policies relevant to a tech, media, or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* Access control or badge experience is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
