As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer in a government transit location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, support access control needs, and provide professional customer service while coordinating with site contacts and local partners. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location. * Conduct regular and random patrols of transit areas, platforms, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns. * Monitor access points and observe conditions for unusual activity, damage, or hazards, and report issues per post orders. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public emergency services as directed. * Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
