As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and complete routine patrols and reports using a computer or tablet. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly, and deliver customer-focused service while supporting loss prevention efforts. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Control access at entry points by verifying identification and credentials, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and maintaining accurate access logs. * Monitor inbound and outbound traffic for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, coordinating with site contacts to help support smooth dock and yard operations while following access rules. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: * Loss Prevention experience is preferred. * Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
