Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Financial Desk Patrol in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .
As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access to the facility and assisting with badge verification and visitor management. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a professional presence and staying attentive to your surroundings. What You'll Do:
* Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
* Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
* Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
* Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
* Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
* Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors and vendors as required by site protocols.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines for financial institution environments.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
* Assist with visitor management and provide information or directions as needed to guests and employees.
* Communicate promptly and professionally with site management, Allied Universal supervisors and local authorities as necessary.
* Operate and monitor security-related equipment such as access control systems, CCTV and visitor management technology at the front desk.
* Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior through attentive presence and adherence to site procedures.

* Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
* Access control or badge experience is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A valid guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
