Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Exterior Patrol Rover in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting.  Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, lots, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
* Control access at entrances and gates by verifying identification, authorizations, and deliveries, and directing visitors, contractors, and drivers according to site procedures.
* Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
* Complete timely reports and logs, including patrol observations, incident details, and access activity, and communicate noteworthy information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have 1+ years of Security Experience.
* Being Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
* Guard Card/License is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
