Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.  Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* A guard card/license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
