Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

 Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, process visitor access, and report unusual activity or access discrepancies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unauthorized access, operational concerns, and other security-related issues.
* Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by helping to deter unauthorized entry, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and following post orders and reporting procedures.

 Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* Applicants must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
* At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
